His Eminence Metropolitan Antonios, Patriarchal Vicar, led meetings of the Archdiocesan bishops, the Temporary Operating Committee, and the Board of Trustees from Dec. 2-3, 2022 at the Archdiocesan Headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey. He conveyed to everyone the love and blessings of His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East.

His Eminence and the Archdiocesan leaders finalized plans for January’s Special Convention to nominate a new Metropolitan-Archbishop for the Antiochian Archdiocese. Registration information is available on Antiochian.org. The list of candidates will be announced in the near future.

On Saturday night, Sayidna Antonios presided at Great Vespers in celebration of St. Barbara the Great-martyr and St. John of Damascus at St. Nicholas Cathedral of Brooklyn, New York.

Then, His Eminence attended the annual gala of the Salaam Club of New York Foundation as a guest of Mr. John Abi-Habib, Honorary Consul General of Lebanon in New Jersey. There, Sayidna Antonios met His Excellency Bishop Gregory John Mansour of the Maronite Eparchy of Brooklyn, along with other members of New York’s Arab-American Community.
